Wisdom is a deep understanding and realizing of people, things, events or situations, resulting in the ability to choose or act to consistently produce the optimum results with a minimum of time and energy.
Today I decided to start this blog. I have purposed that today, September 22, 2010, is a new phase in my life and I want everything that God has for me. Sometimes I struggle with being transparent, I always feel that God is allowing me to experience things in my life so that I can learn from it and to inspire other women who are in the same struggle. I named this blog Wisdom's sister in reference to Proverbs when it says:
"Say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call understanding your kinsman." Proverbs 7:4
This verse means so much to me because I have three sisters. If I can hold wisdom so close to me like a sister, I will be in good shape.
During the rough times, during the times where I turn around and say, "How did I get here?" in the recesses in my mind I always hear the holy one saying "Walk closely". As a people we should always walk close with God, but there are those times where we need to be closer than close to Him. This is where wisdom comes in. When you encounter a situation in your world that is unprecedented, choose wisdom. Wisdom only comes from God.
